Where it goes
Inside the suitcase lining, or tied to the handle. Passport cover on the way home.
The wallet slot behind your licence. You stop noticing it is there.
Zipped into the inner pocket of a school bag. They never need to know.
For the person in your family who loses everything. They know who they are.
Why this exists
Our stores were broken into more than once. One night they reversed a car through the shutter. Another time they prised the security covers off the windows and cleared the shelves. The police had nothing to go on, because there was nothing to follow.
A tracker would have caught them. Not a tag hanging off a bag where anyone can see it and drop it in a bin — something flat, hidden inside the boxes, that nobody thinks to look for. Thieves are not looking for cards.
Then a pair of shoes went missing outside a mosque. Expensive ones. I put a card under the insole of the next pair and stopped thinking about it. That is the whole idea: use the new thing to protect what you have, before everyone else catches on.

How many
Buy one, two or three. The more you take, the less each one costs. Nothing is charged today — tell us how many you want and we will hold them for you.
For the wallet. The one everybody starts with.
Wallet and suitcase. The two things people actually lose.
Wallet, suitcase, and one for whoever in your house loses everything.
What it does
Tap your phone and the card plays a sound — loud enough to hear from under a couch cushion or inside a closed bag.
Your wallet gets left in a taxi in Lisbon and you will see it on the map from your kitchen in Salinas.
Stand up without your wallet and your iPhone tells you at the door — not two hours later when you reach for it and your stomach drops.
Set it on any wireless charging pad twice a year. No batteries to hunt for, no monthly fee, no subscription.
In the box
No blister pack, no window, no plastic. A soft-touch box that opens onto a warm interior, with the card lying flat in a paperboard tray.
FSC board. Paper-only tray. No plastic anywhere in the box.
Tagly is an iPhone product. It uses Apple's Find My network, so it needs an iPhone or iPad. We would rather tell you that now than take your money. On Android?
Our promise
Lose the bag, wallet or suitcase your Tagly is in — and do not get it back within 30 days — and we will send you two new cards, free. Plus a 2-year battery warranty, 100-day returns even if you have used it, and a real person who answers the phone within 24 hours.
Straight answers
No, and be careful of anyone who says theirs is. There is no GPS chip and no SIM card in a tracker this thin — there physically is not room, and it would need charging every day. Tagly uses Apple's Find My network: the hundreds of millions of iPhones out in the world quietly and anonymously report where your card is. In a city that is extremely accurate. Alone in the woods with no Apple devices nearby, nothing will find it.
Six months, then about twenty minutes on any wireless charging pad. That figure is measured at the two-second signal rate Apple requires of every Find My accessory, so it is a real-world number rather than a best case. Ring it many times a day and it will be less. A few card trackers advertise eight or sixteen months, but those are physically larger cards with bigger batteries — ours is smaller on purpose, because a card you will actually keep in your wallet beats one you charge less often.
No. Tagly uses Apple's Find My network, so it needs an iPhone or iPad on iOS 14.5 or later. We would rather tell you that plainly than take your money. Write to hello@shoptagly.com and we will tell you if we build one.
None. No subscription, no app to download, no account to make. It appears in the Find My app already on your iPhone, under Items.
Lay it on any wireless charging pad, logo facing up. A couple of hours for a full charge, and you will only need to do it a few times a year.
No. It is a Bluetooth device with a small battery, the same as the AirTag millions of people fly with. It can stay in your wallet or your checked bag.
Apple built protection against exactly that, and Tagly follows it. If an unknown card is travelling with you, your iPhone warns you, and the card will start beeping on its own after a while. Using a tracker to follow a person without their knowledge is illegal, and we will not help anyone do it.
We replace it. Two-year battery warranty, no receipt hunt, no argument. This is the single most common complaint about every other tracker card on the market, which is exactly why we warranty it.
